LACE is unique to Founder’s District in affordability, scope, value, quality, diversity, and excellence.
LACE offers training for club officers and advanced officer experiences. All LACE sessions will be conducted via Zoom meetings. You must individually register for each session you wish to attend. Check out the schedule and get registered. All sessions are FREE!
LACE is for EVERYONE! All club members and officers are welcome!
Are you a Leader?
How do you know if you are acting as a leader? This presentation will deliver a definition of leadership that our speaker has found to be effective over more than 30 years of community and business leadership. He has been a Scout leader for more than 25 years, and served as a member or chair of 10 different Boards of Directors with more than 50 years of combined Board experience. In August, he will become the next International President of Toastmasters. Please join me in welcoming International President-Elect Matt Kinsey as he asks us… are you a leader?
Matt Kinsey, DTM, of Coral Springs, Florida, is the Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer of IT Fusion, LLC in South Florida which launched in 2021 after MK Tech Group merged with 2 other local IT providers. Kinsey holds a master’s degree in computer information systems from the University of Phoenix, Arizona and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Trinity International University. As a Boy Scout volunteer for more than 25 years, he has held numerous positions within the organization including Scoutmaster, district chairman, event chairman, and the council’s camping chairman.
A Toastmaster since 2003, Kinsey is a charter member of his home club, Outspoken Toastmasters, in Coral Springs. He has held a number of high-profile leadership positions within Toastmasters and has attained the Distinguished Toastmaster designation—the highest level of educational achievement in the organization.
“I have learned that to be most successful, you need to lead with your heart and not your head,” he says. “There is no finer program than Toastmasters for helping people build their self-confidence, communication and leadership skills.”
As an officer of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors, Kinsey is a “working ambassador” for the organization. He works with the Board to develop, support, and modify the policies and procedures that guide Toastmasters International in fulfilling its mission.
