Are you looking for an avenue to gain leads for your club or build your personal brand?  Podcasts are a great opportunity to build influence and promote yourself or services.  But starting a podcast can be daunting. In this session, learn the basics of getting your podcast up and running. Christine Brady, co-host of the podcast "Currently Obsessed," and Vicki Noethling, host of the podcast “Find Your Leadership Confidence Podcast” will highlight the equipment you need to get started, as well as scheduling episodes to deliver ongoing content, branding your podcast and delivering content that’s relevant to your subscribers.  But most importantly learn how to record and edit your podcast so you can deliver high-quality segments that will keep your listeners coming back for more.

Christine Brady is a Past District Director of Founder’s District. She is the recipient of the Resilience Award from Toastmasters International, in recognition of leadership through times of uncertainty. In her worklife, Christine works as a Contracts Manager for a National Transportation Analytics firm, where she performs complex analysis and negotiation of contract documents.Vicki Noethling is a Past District Director for District 44 and Past Region Advisor for Region 2, where she mentored Toastmasters District leaders on leadership, conflict resolution, and strategic positioning. Vicki has taken things to the next level with launching of The Find Your Leadership Confidence Podcast, co-authoring Unstoppable: Being Fierce, Fearless, and Unf*ckwithable in Life and Business with Rochel Marie Lawson and others, and creating two online courses to compliment her online webinar and coaching program, the Vicki Noethling Confidence Academy.

The Path to DTM

For many members, achieving the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award is a highlight of their Toastmasters journey. The award represents the highest level of educational achievement in the organization, and was first awarded 51 years ago, in March 1970. The Path to achieve your Distinguished Toastmaster award may seem daunting. Though it isn't an easy task, it is well worth your effort. This session will open your eyes as to how you can achieve a Distinguished Toastmaster award through the Pathways educational program.

Ken Spears is a past Club Growth Director and is well versed in helping officers guide their clubs to Distinguished or better. He has attained multiple DTMs in the legacy and Pathways program and has served as a club officer for many years in Toastmasters. He is a former President’s Distinguished Division Director, Select Distinguished Area Director and is the immediate past Area Director for G1. Ken has demystified the process of completing a Pathways DTM Award. He looks forward to offering advice and encouragement that will help others succeed as well.

Making Pathways Work for You Workshop is an informative and interactive session that will empower you to make the most of the Pathways Learning Experience. If you are a new member, an experienced member, or anywhere in between, this session will give you the tools you need to make Pathways work for you.

  • Troubleshoot members' Pathways hesitations

Kim Province has been a Toastmaster since 2018. She is a member of 2 clubs and chartered her first club
last year. She is currently serving as the Area G1 Director after serving as an Area F Director last year.
Club Officer roles include President, VP of Education, VP of Membership and Treasurer. Being a
Toastmaster has helped her find her passion in assisting others enhance their leadership skills. Her
She has a small business and enjoys the entrepreneur lifestyle she has created. She enjoys gardening,
travel and visiting botanical gardens.

Dave is a multiple contest winner, having competed up to the Division Level.  Dave is an International Speaker and Corporate Trainer. In his little bit of spare time, Dave can be found sharing his musical gifts all over South County, engaging in his spiritual growth and finding time to play with his new granddaughter.

 Dave Friedman has been in Toastmasters since July 2017 and is in two clubs. He sponsored a club last year. He has served as President, VP of Membership, Secretary, and Treasurer. Dave has also been a Area G Director.

DTM Susanna Wong is a communication and leadership trainer, and an executive coach for global corporations, such as UOB, HSBC, and PwC, who has conducted people skills training in Asia, Europe, and America. Having been a Division Director in Districts F & 89, Susanna is the Founding President of the Professional Trainers Toastmasters Club (Hong Kong) and SoCal English Mandarin Bilingual Toastmasters (USA), a conference presenter in Districts 85, 89 and 118, and a motivational speaker who never ceases to entertain and challenge her audiences with new and insightful perspectives.
